Last time I wore this long maxi floral dress, I kept the look super casual with a camo jacket, flat sandals, and a backpack.  (See my Return of the Backpack post.)

But when wearing this larger print for work, I decided to glam it up a little with a fitted tweed blazer and some rhinestone earrings.

Some days I just really need that glam factor…especially days when I find that my maxi dress doubles as a tissue.  Nothing says “I’ll miss you when you’re working, mommy” like getting snot wiped on me as the little one hugged me good-bye.

Stop on over at Sassy Moms in the City.  I wrote a post about my new favorite lip gloss…I have seriously being wearing it nonstop.

Leopard and Mustard

If you heard a squeal off in the distance on Saturday, it was probably me when I found this leopard pencil skirt (double bonus…leopard and pencil!!)

The first thing I did when I got home was wash it…and then I made the tough decision of what top to wear with it first.  I settled on this mustard sweater, but I have a whole slew of other options just waiting…I’m predicting that I’ll be wearing this skirt at least once a week until winter.

Have you found yourself any fall favorites yet?

Getting Darker

20 Sep 2012 Permalink

I know lots of people having been getting excited for fall.  My sister just told me that she can’t wait to wear scarves and boots…and layers.  I’m always happy for a change, too.  When things are the same for too long, I get bored.  But this time of the year always gets me so down in the dumps!  I can’t stand the sun setting so early…and we haven’t even switched the clocks back yet!

That’s probably why I’ve been wearing sandals every chance I get!  Unless there’s a possibility of getting frostbite on my toes, I’m going to let these little guys enjoy the fall breeze!
