Outfit for Work: Suit Yourself

March 6, 2013

I’ve been mixing and matching my blazers and trousers to create suit-like outfits for work.  They’re a real no-brainer for getting dressed Monday through Fridays.

A navy blazer and pinstriped navy pants with a touch of brightness keeps me going on gloomy days.

Here’s some other suit options that I’d love to enter my closet!

Neon for work – this outfit is totally doable! I don’t have to wear suits that often, but when I do I always struggle with what shirt to wear underneath and not look completely stiff. I’m thinking I might go with neon next time :)

You look gorgeous. Sometimes a suit can look stuffy on women, but you totally rocked it with the neon top. Absolutely classy and chic!

I love everything about this outfit. If I ever need to wear a suit, I’ll want to wear it like this! (I’m pinning it right now!)

    p.s.: where’s your purse from?

The bag is Loft…but I thrifted it. Actually, now that I think about it, everything here was thrifted!

I am totally into mixing and matching my suit separates too – you are still just as dressed up but seem less formal. Love the pop of neon!

I love that bright shirt with the suit. I could never pull off that particular color (yellow generally makes me look like death) but I am inspired to try a similar idea.
