Gotta do something about this HAIR!
I hate fixing my hair in the mornings. I even try taking short cuts in the evening (like putting my hair into a French braid) so that it’ll take me less time in the morning to do something with it! I have a new method to share with you soon, but more on that later…
My hair is starting to get too long. And since I get bored with things very easily, I’m planning on chopping it off after my sister’s wedding in May. (I’ll be donating it.) I’m sure once 10 or so inches are gone, I’ll miss the length. So, to make me appreciate my hair now, I’m going to be doing some hair challenges with myself. Each week I’m planning on trying a new hair style…the keyword here is planning!
If you have long hair, and you have some fast and easy styling ideas, I’d love to hear about them!
And I just had to share this…

Is the french braid how you achieved those gorgeous waves?
Yes…after washing at night, I let my hair mostly air dry. Then I braid it. Finger comb in the morning, a little hair spray, and that’s that!
I have long wavy red hair and I too don’t know what to do with it. Not only do I not have time to use a curling or flat iron on it, I don’t want to damage my hair because wavy / curly hair tends to be a little on the dry side. My new routine is run through hair with fingers after shower, then flip over and blow dry just a little, especially at the roots to get some of the moisture out. Then I flip back, smooth with fingers again, side part and I use John Frieda’s light serum ( skinny purple bottle with two liquids in it that you have to shake to mix up) I do about 10 drops per side of my hair and then let it air dry from there. I get a natural wave look and it’s quick and doesn’t damage my hair. In between days, I do a low pony and wear the pony to the side a little so my hair hangs down over my shoulder.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sarah!!
I’m in a bit of a hair funk too. But I’m a huge fan of the sock bun and I also love straightening my hair and wearing it in a ponytail. There are some fabulous tutorials on pinterest.
Right!? After getting dressed, getting the kids dressed, and whatever else needs to happen in the am…our hair is the last thing we’re worried about! Funny you mentioned a straight pony…I just wore my hair like that yesterday! Great minds… ; )
Love the last pic..he is so freakin’ cute!!!!!!!
How come you never do a high messy bun? They are easy and so chic.
I think it would look great since your hair is slightly wavy!
