City Layers

On Sunday, a group of us went to see my brother’s latest production at Broadway in Chicago at Water Tower Place. When it’s cold and you’re in the Windy City, layers are the way to go!
dress, denim jacket (Gap), leopard coat – thrifted // tights – Express // turtle neck – H&M

Loving the leopard and denim and cozy hat!
I love that jacket – I was looking at one like it the other day and trying to figure out if I had the guts to wear it!
You should try wearing it! It wasn’t scary wearing it to an event, but later I wore it to work. Don’t see many teachers walking around with a big leopard print jacket, but I think eveyone is used to me experimenting.

It was cute. A little bittersweet for him…he’s finishing up a few things in Chicago then plans to move to LA in the summer.

Cute! Love the leopard coat. If you ever shop at Water Tower Place, several years ago, I worked at a firm redesigning the signage and wayfinding for the mall. Look for the wavy “water” pattern etched on the glass–design by me.
