Skinny Jeans

I’ve been all about skinny jeans these last few days…don’t know if it’s because they were greatly missed during pregnancy or if it’s because I’m headed back to the classroom in 11 short days (hello pencil skirts and dress pants!)…whatever the reason, they’ve been perfect for this it’s-fall-but-sometimes-warmer weather.

Congratulations! I had my little guy around the same time you had yours (Aug. 17) I also am a teacher( 1st grade)
I had a pair of maternity skinny jeans, but they kept sliding down now. I finally broke down and bought a non maternity pair that I can fit into until I can squeeze into my old ones.
We have a lot in common (I checked out your blog…you’re a thrifter too ; )…I’m sure we could chat for hours! Congrats on your new addition! Are you headed back to the classroom any time soon??
Im going to take off until next Aug. They will hold my job for a year. With my first two I just took off during the summer (better planning). I will definitely return though I know I could not be a stay at home mom for long. Good luck when you return! I hope you are adjusting to two! Mine are 5,3 and 2 months and transitioning from 1 to 2 was a hard one!
I hear ya on being a working mom…I’m getting a bit antsy here at home and it’s only been about 12 weeks! That’s awesome that you’ll get a year off though! 1 to 2 is hard…very trying at times!
Your blouse is just gorgeous against your coloring! And, I can’t deny that I’m super-excited to see some classroom outfits. How are you feeling about the transition back? Ready? Really ready? Not ready at all? A mix?
Oh, it’s a mix of feelings alright! Sometimes I feel really ready to get back in the game…but then there are those times when the kids are just so stinking cute (the little one is laughing and smiling all the time now!) and I know I’m going to miss some of those “first” moments…but the kids will be in great hands so I can’t ask for anything more than that!
We will be happy to have you back again!
