So Much to Learn

October 6, 2011

These photos were taken a few weeks back and left unposted…I was standing in the shade and the images turned out super dark. (Lesson #1 – don’t stand in the shade…duh!)  But then after screwing around on Picnik, I learned there is a ‘shadow’ feature. (Lesson #2 – spend more time screwing around on Picnik.)  Hmm…all I need now are some modeling lessons and a spray tan feature and I’ll be all set!

On another completely random note…

Do you like printed dresses as much as I do?  They are so easy to throw on…perfect for those days when you think the doctor’s appointment is an hour later than it actually is, and then by the time you realize it, you have 15 minutes to pack the kids and head out the door…

I LOVE the dress. What a fun print!! You could easily make it dressier, but I like it dressed down with the ankle boots and denim top. Don’t you just love days like that? I overslept this week after a late night deadline and was frantically rushing around to get the boy and I dressed for an appointment! Dresses are great for these occasions.

Rushing in the morning is not fun! I started laying out the kids clothes for the next day before we go to bed now…one less thing to worry about in the am.

wow your dress is a stunner, I feel as if I’m wearing 3D glasses looking at your dress, it’s a eye popping dress! You look vintage chic ! I like the boots with it too,. Your pictures look absolutely fine, not dark at all. I like the shirt as a jacket idea, so versatile.
