Take it from a man

June 6, 2011

When is an acceptable time to use items from your man’s side of the closet?  After a late night of partying?  Laundry day?  During pregnancy?  I’d vote for all of the above.

As my belly bulge continues to grow into a basketball, my “wearable” clothing supply continues to shrink… a perfect time to raid my husband’s closet.  This over-sized tank provides lots of room in the midsection and the neutral color makes it quite versatile for many outfits.

tank – husband’s; leggings – H&M maternity; jacket – Loft; necklaces – Target; shoes – Sears

LOVE how you did your hair. Is it a braid?
And your Hubby’s tank is a great idea–with a fitted jacket, you can’t tell that it’s oversized. Now… if only I could figure out how to make my husband’s 6’2″ clothes look good on my 5′ height!

My husbands got over 100 lbs on me so it took a bit of searching to find something from his closet.

I did start my hair as a loose french braid, kind of off to the side, then I twisted the end as if to make a bun and put in a TON of bobby pins…didn’t last all day though : (

i absolutely love the look. i always love how a great jacket/blazer can pull together the most casual look. and, the neutral colors look great against your hair.
